What skills and experience we're looking for
Burnley Road Academy is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Class Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
We are looking for an excellent practitioner who is passionate about early learning and committed to creating a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within an Early Years setting
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- Demonstrate high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement
- Be committed to supporting the needs of all children
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Work effectively as part of a supportive team
