What skills and experience we're looking for
Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring EYFS Phase Leader to join our dedicated and supportive team.We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic leader, who can support our commitment to providing exceptional teaching, to ensure all our children achieve excellence and thrive.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead, develop and enhance the practice of all colleagues working with pupils in EYFS
- In conjunction with the Deputy Headteacher lead, manage and develop the curriculum delivered to all pupils in the EYFS and ensure that assessment is accurate and used effectively.
- Lead a core curriculum subject or key aspect of school improvement
- Have high expectations and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child
- Have a desire to make a difference to the lives of children and provide them with a safe and caring learning environment;
- Be passionate about learning and have the ability to encourage our children to become successful, self-motivated, happy and confident learners;
- Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of a team;
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire children throughout their learning journey;
- Be committed to working in partnership with other teachers, parents/carers and the whole community;
- Be resilient with a good sense of humour.
