What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioners who are passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or above
- Experience of working within an EYFS setting
- A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of early phonics and supporting communication and language development
- Experience of supporting children with SEND or an understanding of inclusive practice
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues
- Experience of supporting learning through play and structured activities
- Confidence using ICT, including iPads, computers and educational apps
- A positive, flexible and reliable approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
