What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioners who are passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or above
  • Experience of working within an EYFS setting
  • A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of early phonics and supporting communication and language development
  • Experience of supporting children with SEND or an understanding of inclusive practice
  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues
  • Experience of supporting learning through play and structured activities
  • Confidence using ICT, including iPads, computers and educational apps
  • A positive, flexible and reliable approach to work
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
