We are seeking a dedicated Education Welfare Officer to play a key role in improving school attendance and supporting our families.
The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and school staff to identify barriers to attendance, implement effective interventions, and ensure every child has access to education.
Working alongside our Student Support Team (which includes SEND and Safeguarding), you will implement the school’s attendance procedures and take appropriate action to address specific attendance issues. This role will support the improvement of our whole school attendance and reduce persistent absence levels.
This is a full-time position offered on an initial 12-month contract, with the clear expectation of continuation, subject to successful performance. This opportunity is open to applications from both candidates with extensive experience or alternatively, with a passion and motivation for working with young people and their families. Full training will be provided where necessary.
This is an extremely exciting time to join us. As a Trust founded by The Royal Society of Arts, our exceptional schools work together to create learning that is inspirational for all. We have a particular passion for academic success generated through creative teaching and learning, and skills development, that best prepares students for the world beyond school.
If you would like an informal discussion about the role please contact Niall Brennan, Associate Vice Principal.
