  • Ensure you understand your professional responsibilities in relation to school policies and practices.
  • Evaluate your own teaching critically and use this to improve your effectiveness.
  • Support colleagues when working in your teacher learning communities.

We are looking for an excellent Teacher of English to join our English Department.

We invest heavily in our outstanding English department which we believe is one of the strongest departments in the country. Pupils at AGFS have consistently achieved some of the strongest results in the school over the last three years. In 2022, 50% of all English GCSE grades were 7+ and 95% of grades were 4+. The English Progress 8 in 2022 was +1.02.

The successful candidate will be capable of adding further value to a traditionally strong subject at the school. A passion for your subject and a commitment to extra-curricular activities is essential.

This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers.
