Position: Exams Administrator

Grade: Grade 6

Contract: Term Time predominantly

Salary: £20,711 - £22,531 per annum (actual gross salary)

Hours: 37 per week Term time, annualised

This is an annualised, term time contract. The average working hours are 37 hours per week. Hours are flexible and will require more hours in peak times and fewer hours in non-exam periods. The post-holder would ideally be available to work some hours on and around GCSE Results Day.

About the role

We are looking for an administrator to join our school Exams Team. The post holder must have strong administrative and organisational skills and to be able to work on their own initiative. The successful applicant will be someone who works well in a team, can prioritise and is able to work flexibly with colleagues. Good communication skills are essential as the post holder will work closely with staff and students.

The successful applicant will assist with all aspects of the organisation of examinations and will provide administrative assistance as required. The post holder will assist with handling exam papers and looking after students taking exams whilst ensuring compliance with the official regulations as set out by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). The role is supported by an experienced Exams Officer.

The post holder must also be flexible and willing to work variable hours according to the seasonal demands of the exam calendar.

These results place us as one of the highest performing schools in the county.
