Exams Administrator job summary

King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) is seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Exam Assistant to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Examinations Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that all examination and assessment procedures are carried out smoothly, efficiently, and in line with external and internal requirements across the school.

About the Role

As our Exam Administrator, you will assist with the end-to-end administration and logistics of internal and public examinations. You will ensure compliance with JCQ regulations, help prepare exam rooms, manage materials, and support invigilators to deliver a fair and stress-free assessment environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Examinations Manager with the administration, set-up, and distribution of internal and external examination materials.
  • Ensure examination spaces are arranged correctly in strict compliance with examination board guidelines and JCQ regulations.
  • Support the coordination and briefing of invigilators, ensuring exam procedures are smoothly maintained.
  • Handle confidential papers, student attendance registers, and completed scripts securely and accurately.

Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 and we have grown year on year, with our first Year 11 students currently in the final year of their GCSE study. In addition to the secondary phase, we also have two primary phases set across two sites, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). In September 2023, we will have students from year N to year 6 in primary and year 7 through to year 12. Our 6th Form will be opening in September 2023.
