St John Vianney is a two-form entry school with a Nursery and a SEND provision unit for 16 children with EHCPs. St John Vianney Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly organised Extended Services Lead to oversee our successful After School and Holiday Club provision. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing high-quality childcare, enrichment and recreational opportunities for children in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
As the Extended Services Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the provision, leading staff, planning activities and ensuring children enjoy a positive experience that supports their wellbeing, development and enjoyment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:- Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school or childcare setting.
- Can effectively lead, motivate and support a team.
- Is enthusiastic, creative and child-centred.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Can create engaging educational and recreational activities.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Supports the Catholic ethos and values of our school.
- Lead and manage the After School and Holiday Club provision.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 4-11.
- Supervise and support club staff.
- Manage administration, records and budgets.
- Promote positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing.
- Develop the provision to meet the needs of pupils and families.
- Friendly, polite and enthusiastic children.
- A supportive and inclusive team environment.

Hours:
- After School Club 3pm until 6pm daily during term time
- Holiday Club 9am until 4pm (6.5 hours with 30 minutes lunch) 7 weeks during the academic year
