We are looking for a teacher who is able to make a real difference to our children and build upon the strong teaching and learning they have had so far. We have a significantly higher than average number of children with additional needs and therefore would be interested to hear from candidates who have experience of this. We are looking to appoint a talented and inspirational person who shares our vision for success and is hard working. Our children are enthusiastic, hardworking and polite and deserve the very best. They would like a teacher that “wants to help them be the best that they can”.

We have supportive parents, a strong staff team, including Governance, and are part of Concordia Multi-Academy Trust. Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for the post will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes.

We can offer visits to our school on Friday 17th October and Monday 20th October at 4pm. Please contact the school office on 0151 351 5133 if you wish to book yourself onto a visit. You can also visit our website to find out further information about our school.

Wolverham Primary and Nursery School is a one form entry primary school located in the heart of a busy community in Ellesmere Port. We also operate a 2 and 3 year old provision which offers paid and funded places (15 and 30 hours) and many of our pupils start with us at the age of 2 and remain with us until they are ready for high school.

We want all our pupils to be inspired and love learning, be confident in who they are and leave us with the skills and knowledge required to take on the next step of their school journey. Through our half-termly key words - identity, courage, power, change, choices and unity - we have built a curriculum which will continue to evolve and develop over the next few years. Our pupils’ personal development is at the heart of all we do with a range of exciting trips, residential visits, visitors and learning experiences built into each topic.

Our school operates as a community where everyone’s voice is important and is heard. We are proud of our diverse school and we strive to be inclusive, with a significantly higher number of pupils with identified SEND and additional needs.
