What skills and experience are we looking for?

The role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher who is kind, caring, organised and passionate about working in an infant and nursery school and in EYFS in particular. We are looking for an ECT to join our happy, nurturing and successful school team at Colmore Infant and Nursery School. We are proud of our welcoming ‘Colmore Family’ community and are now looking for a teacher at the start of their career to be part of our team.

Colmore is a happy, welcoming and warm school environment where all of our children are ACE – Amazing Confident Experts! We have an inclusive ethos and are a Rights Respecting GOLD award school and a TIAAS GOLD award school. The children sit at the heart of all we do with our broad and balanced ‘1, 2, 3… It’s good to be me curriculum’. If you are a positive, committed and passionate teacher who wants to make a difference to children’s lives each day then please get in touch to find out more!

In our most recent OFSTED inspection in November 2023 we successfully maintained ‘Outstanding in all areas’. Our mantra, since our previous inspection in 2011 has always been, ‘Outstanding but not perfect’ and as a school we continually strive to give the children the best education we can with the resources we have. In September we are looking for a teacher to join us who we can support to thrive and flourish.

The post is a full-time permanent position from 1st September 2025.
