The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher who is kind, caring, organised and passionate about working in an infant and nursery school and in EYFS in particular. We are looking for an ECT to join our happy, nurturing and successful school team at Colmore Infant and Nursery School. In our most recent OFSTED inspection in November 2023 we successfully maintained ‘Outstanding in all areas’. Our mantra, since our previous inspection in 2011 has always been, ‘Outstanding but not perfect’ and as a school we continually strive to give the children the best education we can with the resources we have. In September we are looking for a teacher to join us who we can support to thrive and flourish.
The post is a full-time permanent position from 1st September 2025.
We are looking for someone who:
- Who has trained in KS1 and EYFS
- Is able to demonstrate a clear passion for and understanding of EYFS education and the important part this plays in a child’s educational journey.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the need to teach in a safe, secure, healthy school environment
- Puts safeguarding at the heart of everything they do
- Who can model the principles of effective teaching and learning to a high standard in the early stage of their career
- Has excellent organisation and interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders
