St John’s School provides special education for children and young people with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, aged two to nineteen. We are part of Bedford Inclusive Learning and Training Trust.

St Johns School is looking for an individual who is passionate about ensuring that all children have the best start in life and are dedicated to working with families to help to achieve this.

Key Areas of Responsibility for this role are:

Assist the Deputy Head in ensuring that all pupils across BILTT/St Johns are provided with a safe and secure environment which offers consistency and continuity of care.

Assist the Deputy Head in ensuring that there is cohesion and clear communication between the different agencies responsible for the care and welfare of all pupils and their families across BILTT.

Coordinate and attend safeguarding meetings, including but not limited to CIN, TAFs, Short Break Review, EHCP meetings

Liaise directly with parents in one to one and small group settings, to ensure pupils and families are well supported and signposted where appropriate.
