About this Role

The Priory Hub are seeking a Finance and HR Officer who is highly motivated to join our office hub team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, meeting new challenges and supporting the senior leadership team with budgeting, HR administration, resource allocation and keeping our financial systems up to date. There is no requirement for applicants to have gained formal HR qualifications.

We are looking for someone to work 21 hours per week, term time only across four days as follows:

Tuesday and Wednesday - 08.15am to 2.15pm. 6 hours each day.

Monday and Thursday - 4.5 hours each day. (Times can be negotiated).

The Priory Hub is a group of 4 schools and this role is to support 3 of those schools, Wimborne St Giles First School, Cranborne First School and Trinity First School. The role will be based across the three schools and travel between the schools is expected. This role provides an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the Priory Hub supporting their schools with the HR and Finance Administration, working together with Office administrators across the hub aswell as the Hub Business Manager. This person will also form part of a wider Finance and HR team for the Trust.

You will need to have:

  • Maths GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a financial role
  • Previous experience of working in a financial capacity within a school environment would be advantageous.
    You will also need the following:
  • Friendly with good interpersonal skills
  • Have a positive, professional attitude and an excellent telephone manner
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative in a busy environment
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Willingness to support the wider work across the school
