We are looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant to provide financial and administrative support to the local finance hub team and academies. Providing effective and efficient output of work to meet the demands of the role and promote the core values of the Finance Team regarding excellence and professionalism.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this post holder will be accountable for:
- Processing purchase orders onto the finance system
- Matching goods received notes to invoices
- Matching invoices to purchase orders
- Processing invoices onto the finance system
- Placing credit card orders and processing them onto the finance system
- Processing expense claims onto a financial system
- Supplier set up and maintenance
- Statement Reconciliations
- Dealing with staff, academy and supplier queries
- To provide a good standard of customer service to our stakeholders
- To follow the guidelines set out in all E-ACT Finance Polices and the Scheme of Delegation.
Pay range:
SCP 7 - 11 £26,403 - £ 28,142 Inner London Weighting available dependant on location
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in relevant discipline or willingness to work towards
- Experience of general finance administrative processes and systems
- Experience in use or IT systems including excel, outlook and word.
