Finance & HR Administrator

Permanent post, 35 hours per week, term time plus four weeks, starting September 2024 or as soon as possible

Working hours – 8.00am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

This role is fast paced, varied and dynamic, offering opportunities to work with Finance and HR stakeholders across all layers of the organisation. You will benefit from on site support from an experienced Finance and HR Manager plus the support of a fantastic, experienced Finance and HR team at OAT head office. This is a great opportunity to work in an education environment and with Finance and HR stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, as well as access to sector partners and colleagues to network and share best practice with along the way.

This post will provide exposure to many aspects of Finance and HR from purchase orders, supplier and customer invoices, credit control, safer recruitment, onboarding, maintenance of the single central record, absence management and other case work. The successful candidate will be a confident relationship builder with excellent communication skills.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • has good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
  • has experience of working in a finance and/or HR environment
  • is resilient, methodical and can show attention to detail, maintain high standards of consistency and accuracy, whist ensuring all deadlines are met
  • has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • has excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
