What skills and experience we're looking for
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships at all levels
- Ability to respond to change quickly and positively
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Solution focused, as opposed to problem finder
- Patient and persistent; honest and kind.
- Tactful, respectful and sensitive to the needs of others
- Professionally discreet and able to respect confidentiality
- Enthusiastic with a positive and optimistic outlook and a sense of humour
- Firm sensitive and effective approach towards students
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English
- Enhanced DBS
- Knowledge and understanding of techniques and procedures used
- Trained in or willing to train in first aid skills
- Experience of working in a school
- Ideally a qualification in at least one art or technology discipline
- Previous experience and knowledge of one art or technology discipline
