Head of Year Assistant
37 Hours
8am-4pm Monday- Thursday, 8am-3.30pm Friday
Term time plus 5 days
Grade 5 SCP 7-11
Actual salary: £23,433- £25,311 (FTE £27,274- £29,071)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our Head of Year team. You will work with existing staff across the academy in order to ensure that the administration function deliver a seamless service.
You will:
Provide a confidential administration service to the Year Leaders and Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral).
Communicate and liaise with pupils, parents and visitors to the academy as and when required.
Deliver a high quality service by working effectively with teaching colleagues and associate staff.
Prioritise and organise own workload to meet deadlines.
Assist within Student Support during peak times.
Distribute documentation and data to relevant staff.
Use the Behaviour Log Analysis tool to monitor pupils on report.
Complete proformas for detentions.
Manage bookings and data for Connect/Internal Exclusion/lunch time detentions.
You will be/have:
5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C/4 or above including Maths and English.
Good knowledge of Windows based word processing and spreadsheet packages.
General administration experience.
Able to deal confidentially with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
Prioritisation, time management and organisation skills to meet deadlines.
