What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a motivated and inspirational leader who is seeking their next challenge? Do you hold a passionate desire for every child to flourish and achieve their very best in their academic, social, physical, and spiritual development?

Following the announcement of the current Headteacher’s decision to retire after 21 very successful years, leaving the school well placed for the next stages in its development, the governors are looking to appoint a new Headteacher to drive continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate will provide dynamic and strategic leadership ensuring high standards of education, personal development, and well-being for all, placing the Christian ethos and values at the heart of school life. The Headteacher will work closely with the governing body, staff, parents and our local parish church and Diocese to ensure faith, learning and pastoral care flourish together.

What the school offers its staff

A successful, voluntary-aided two form Church of England Primary school in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames, within the Diocese of Southwark, with strong links to St Paul’s Church.

A multicultural school, celebrating and promoting ensuring every child, including those with SEND, EAL and from disadvantaged backgrounds, thrives in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

A caring and happy team with very supportive governors, committed staff and wonderful children and families.

A well-structured and inspiring curriculum that fosters a love of learning, with a strong focus on early reading, arts, music, drama, sports, languages, and outdoor education.

Commitment to safeguarding

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
