What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors are looking to appoint someone who:
- Is ideally a practising Catholic, however, all applications will be considered on merit and we welcome non-Catholic applicants who will uphold and promote our Catholic faith and values.
- Is trained as and has experience of being a HLTA
- Or someone who holds a relevant Foundation Degree or teaching degree such as an ECT.
- Has specialist knowledge and skills, at advanced level about the National curriculum
- Is passionate about teaching and learning
- Can confidently plan schemes of work, deliver fabulous lessons and assess all subjects taught
- Can inspire and challenge our highly motivated and enthusiastic children.
- Has a positive outlook, a sense of humour and an ability to work with other professionals is essential.
- Will work with children who have additional needs such as SEND and EAL
- Has proven behaviour management experience
- Is competent and confident with using ICT to plan and deliver teaching and learning
- Is able to work within an agreed level of autonomy
- Can be responsible for the management and deployment of other staff within the class.
- Participate and lead in training, staff meetings & other learning activities, including performance development, as required
