Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time, 15 hours per week over 4 days, term time only and Inset days
Salary: FTE Range: £26,824 - £28,142. Actual Starting Salary: £9,436.97, Grade D

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised HR Admin Assistant to join our busy school office team.
The successful candidate will support the HR department in providing an efficient and confidential HR service to staff, ensuring that all personnel records and processes are accurate, up to date, and compliant with school and safeguarding requirements.
This position will be 15 hours per week, over 4 days, however we can be flexible with times.
Main Duties
Provide general administrative support for HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff record management.
Assist with advertising vacancies and processing applications
Maintain accurate and confidential staff files electronically.
Support with absence tracking.
Help prepare contracts, letters, and other HR-related documentation.
Support with DBS checks and safer recruitment compliance.
Respond promptly and professionally to staff queries by email, phone, or in person.
Undertake general office duties as part of the wider admin team when required. Including preparing paperwork for Governors.
About You
Good general education (GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths).
Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Confident in using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
Previous experience in an office or school environment is desirable but not essential.
