Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT)

is seeking to appoint a HR Advisor to join our central HR team.

HR Advisor

Payscale: £38,200 to £41,700 per year (plus travel allowance)

Full time - 35 hours a week, 52 weeks per year

Commencing: As soon as possible

Location: Hybrid - working from our Central Office in Ely, with regular travel to

academies within an allocated group, and occasional travel to academies

across the wider Trust and some remote working each week.


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our friendly, supportive and committed HR team in support of our 38 primary academies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

have worked in a generalist HR role across all areas of the employee life cycle;

have experience of advising on and supporting employee relations cases and organisational change;

have the ability to forge strong working relationships;

ideally have experience and knowledge of an education environment;

be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

As part of a team of HR Advisors you will manage your own portfolio of academies across a regional hub, providing proactive advice and guidance to our senior leaders on a range of HR matters.
