Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT)
is seeking to appoint a HR Advisor to join our central HR team.
HR Advisor
Payscale: £38,200 to £41,700 per year (plus travel allowance)
Full time - 35 hours a week, 52 weeks per year
Commencing: As soon as possible
Location: Hybrid - working from our Central Office in Ely, with regular travel to
academies within an allocated group, and occasional travel to academies
across the wider Trust and some remote working each week.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our friendly, supportive and committed HR team in support of our 38 primary academies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
have worked in a generalist HR role across all areas of the employee life cycle;
have experience of advising on and supporting employee relations cases and organisational change;
have the ability to forge strong working relationships;
ideally have experience and knowledge of an education environment;
be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

As part of a team of HR Advisors you will manage your own portfolio of academies across a regional hub, providing proactive advice and guidance to our senior leaders on a range of HR matters. The HR team ispart of a wider central team offering advice and support to our academies across a number of functions including HR, Finance, Facilities, IT and Governance.
