Inclusion Manager job summary
Oakmere is a highly inclusive school and we are looking to appoint someone with experience of working with children with a range of additional needs and knowledge of the SEND and Pupil Premium agenda, to further our work in this area. The school is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning for all young people and the post represents an ideal opportunity to work in a happy, friendly, positive environment and in a team, which was graded good by OFSTED May 2017.
You will ideally hold the National SENDCO qualification or be working towards completing the qualification. You will be able to effectively lead and manage a team of conscientious learning support assistants and work closely with parent/carers and professionals. Excellent communication skills are essential as the role will involve close liaison with a wide range of professionals as well as colleagues, parents and students.
Ideally this post would be full time with two days class teaching commitment, but for the right candidate this could be a 0.6 role ( please specify on application). The school retain the right to summon candidates for interview ahead of the closing date so urge a quick response to interested candidates.
