What skills and experience we're looking for
- Support students in workplace settings to develop employability and vocational skills
- Deliver effective one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Help students build confidence, independence and workplace readiness
- Liaise with employers, placement providers and external agencies to ensure successful placements
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to relevant College staff
- Identify and develop new work placement opportunities across the local area
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
- Promote positive employer engagement and champion inclusive employment opportunities.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people and/or individuals with additional needs
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is confident building relationships with employers and external stakeholders
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Has a passion for supporting young people into employment and greater independence
- Can adapt to a variety of workplace environments and student needs
- Preferably holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle
