  • Is fully committed to maximising both the academic achievement and personal development of every pupil
  • Has a strong understanding of inclusive practice and the ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Can accurately interpret and respond to assessment data to inform planning and improve outcomes
  • Is well-organised, and reflective in their teaching practice, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working collaboratively with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • Plans and delivers well-structured lessons in line with the school’s policies, curriculum, and schemes of work
  • Assesses, monitors, records, and reports on pupils’ progress effectively, using assessment information to inform teaching and support achievement
  • Adapts teaching to respond to the strengths, interests, and needs of all pupils
  • Sets high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils to achieve their best
  • Promotes strong progress and positive outcomes for all pupils
  • Demonstrates secure subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the curriculum
  • Contributes to the preparation of pupils for external assessments and examinations effectively
