What skills and experience we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering high-quality lessons in similar year groups.

They will be committed to creating a culture of high-expectations where every child can succeed, be fully inclusive, and have an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current primary good

practice.They will be expected to be able to plan and deliver well-structured sequences of learning, provide support for pupils with SEND, work effectively as part of our staff team, and have good communication skills - working collaboratively with staff and building strong relationships with parents and families.

All teachers in our school are expected to be subject leaders – we are open to discussion about your subject strengths.

We are looking for someone who is committed to providing all children with a high-quality education – both academically and pastorally – and who is willing to invest in continued professional development.They will be keen to work in a school where behaviour is excellent and results are high.They will value good working relationships, and be able to effectively deploy support staff.They will be professional, have high aspirations, and want to work in a school where everyone is treated with respect, enabling them to achieve their best.

We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher who will be able to work as part of a professional team, and who has the expertise to provide high-quality teaching, a stimulating learning environment, and a good level of pastoral care in a mixed Year 2,3,4 class in our village primary school. This post is full time until October half term, then will be 0.8 for the rest of the academic year.
