What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Key Stage2 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting September or November 2026. This is a fixed-term position, subject to the return of the substantive post holder.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and reflective teacher to join a welcoming and collaborative school for a fixed period. We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about inclusive practice, and who can make a positive contribution to pupils’ academic, emotional and social development during the maternity cover period.

The successful applicant will be paid on the Main to Upper Pay Range (M1–U3), currently £32,916 to £51,048, dependent on experience. Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers as well as experienced teachers. Please note that the school does not automatically recognise pay portability. Applicants are asked to indicate their preferred start date.
