Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our vibrant teaching team. This role focuses on engaging students in Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6) and requires proficiency in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the National Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that stimulate and engage all learners.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, using various assessment methods to inform future planning.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching across the curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development through differentiated instruction and classroom management strategies.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and trends within primary education.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the school’s overall improvement.
