Lead DSL job summary

Required for September 2026, the Governors are seeking to appoint a Lead DSL to join our established Safeguarding team. St Francis’ Catholic School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Designated Safeguarding lead to support the social, emotional, mental health and well-being of our students. This will include outreach work with families and collaboration with external agencies including Children’s Services and Family Connect. The safe guarding lead will ensure effective day-to-day practice, statutory compliance and strong professional oversight of all safeguarding activity.

This role includes responsibility for coordinating the dinner supervisory team, managing rotas and ensuring lunchtime procedures run smoothly.
