This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and inspiring Science specialist who wants to lead by example in the classroom, drive innovation in pedagogy, and support colleagues to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
As a Lead Practitioner, you will model excellent practice, coach and mentor staff, and work collaboratively to raise achievement and engagement in Science from Year 7 to Year 11. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team that is committed to curiosity, creativity, and challenge in every lesson.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a proven track record of excellence in Science teaching.
- Has the vision and expertise to raise standards across a department or phase.
- Is passionate about professional learning, coaching, and sharing best practice.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Thrives on collaboration and wants to make a measurable difference across a whole school community.
- Is committed to inclusion, high expectations, and ensuring every child receives a world-class education.
