What skills and experience we're looking for

Psychology is a hugely popular and successful subject at Seven Kings. The department teach Edexcel Psychology at A Level. There are currently 2 specialist Psychology teachers who share the aim to teach students the science of the mind and behaviour, and show pupils how they can analyse human actions and interactions using evidence and theories. The team does this by creating a trusting, collaborative learning environment through their passion and love for the subject and for their craft and by providing the highest standards of learning and teaching for our young people. Examination results are strong, reflecting the department’s commitment to learning and teaching.Required for January 2024. We are seeking to appoint a passionate, well qualified, dynamic teacher and Learning Leader of Psychology who is keen to develop both their teaching and leadership skills in a successful all through community school that will provide great support and encouragement. You will need to be an enthusiastic, aspirational professional with a proven and successful track record of driving change, leading other professionals and ensuring that the best possible outcomes are achieved for all learners.
