Learning Support Assistant job summary

The successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to play a full part in the life of the academy, including extra-curricular activities.

This post is suitable for someone interested in young  people with SEND from either a primary or secondary background. 

You will need to be:

·         Fast thinking and a good communicator

·         Flexible team player

·         Firm, fair and consistent

·         Able to use your initiative

·         Able to meet deadlines

Required skills include:

·         Good knowledge and experience of a range of barriers to learning

·         Good overall education (Strengths in Literacy, Numeracy & ICT would be beneficial)

Hours: 32.5 hours 8.15am-3.15pm term time + 1 week (temporary position until July 2024)
