Learning Support Assistant - Level 2

Salary Grade BB03: £25,483 per annum pro rata. Actual approx £15,454 

30 hours per week, term time only + 3 training day Actual hours Monday - Friday hours to be discussed. Monday Tuesday part time hours Wednesday - Friday full days.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant - Level 2 to join our team, providing key SEN support within the classroom on a 1:1 basis and working closely with other teaching staff and SENDCO to ensure provision is effective and that learning needs are met.

Job overview

As a Learning Support Assistant - Level 2, you’ll provide personalised SEN provision on a 1:1 basis, supporting the pupil in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level and adapting the learning to make it accessible for students with specific needs. This role also involves providing pastoral support, and you’ll monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher whilst working closely with relevant staff to ensure an individual reaches their full potential.
