Learning Support Assistant job summary
We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant plus Lunchtimes to support a child 1:1 within our specialist provision for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The role is offered working term time only plus 2 inset days and will be fixed term from 4 January until 31 August 2022 for 33 hours and 45 minutes per week (28 hours and 45 minutes LSA and 5 hours SMSA)
Actual salary £15,134per annum.
Suitably qualified as well as experienced in working with children with ASD, having sound knowledge of how to support communication with strategies such as PECS and Makaton, you will also be patient, caring and enthusiastic and be confident in implementing behavior management programs and delivering the TEACCH approach.
