Further information about the job
We are looking to appoint a highly capable level 3 teaching assistant (grade 4) to join our happy, thriving school. The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working with children with special needs, in particular pupils with autism and/or speech, language and communication difficulties.

Nook Lane Junior School is an academy school, catering for children between the ages of 7 and 11. We are a warm, welcoming school that serves the local Stannington area and the wider Sheffield community, incorporating a 13 place Integrated resource (IR) for children with autism/communication difficulties. Including children from the IR, we currently have 242 pupils in total. The school is situated in the heart of the Stannington community, amid lush surroundings, overlooking the Loxley Valley and offering outdoor facilities for sports and leisure.
