Lunchtime Supervisor / After School Club Assistant job summary
VACANCY FOR LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR / AFTER SCHOOL CLUB ASSISTANT
Term time only plus 5 training days,
17.5 hours per week at £12.85 per hour
Lunchtime Supervisor: 7.5 hours per week (1.5 hours per day)
&
After School Club Assistant: 10 hours per week (2 hours per day 3.30 - 5.30pm)

We are looking to recruit a Lunchtime Supervisor with additional hours to cover our popular and well attended After School Club.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic team!
Do you have an ability to create a fun, engaging, calm and orderly environment in which children can explore and express themselves? Do you have a good sense of how to take care of children and safeguard their needs?
We are looking to recruit a member of staff who will ensure a safe and secure environment for our pupils. We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong sense of keeping children safe and cared for
- Has a positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude
- Can create excellent relationships with children and staff
- Can work as part of a larger team
- Can support positive behaviour
- Enjoys being with children
- Will be pro-active in engaging children in lunchtime activities/play and after school club
- Is willing to undertake any appropriate training

Closing Date for applications is Monday 20th July at 12pm, shortlisting will take place on the afternoon of 20th July.
As part of the shortlisting process we invite successfully shortlisted candidates to come into school to shadow one of the Lunchtime Staff, this is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 21st July 2026 between 11.15am - 12.45pm.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 22nd July 2026, successful candidates will be contacted via Mynewterm.
