We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children and can build positive relationships with them.
You will be able to manage, organise, and take part in positive play activities with our children. You would be joining an exceptional and supportive team of professionals who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for the children. Each of our individual roles has an impact on the future of our children, and so we put them at the heart of the decisions we make and the services we provide.
Each of our individual roles will have an impact on the future of many, developing and inspiring the future leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators of tomorrow. We strive to deliver learning experiences that engage and instil a curiosity to find out more. Our goal is to develop individuals who ask "why," thereby becoming lifelong learners and visionaries, with aspirations ready for the challenges of the future in an ever-changing world.
We are looking for someone who is excited to be a part of this partnership, who will be able to use their own initiative and be flexible and well-organised to be an asset to our team.
We can offer you:
- A commitment to people across our partnership, underpinned by our people principles: adaptability, wellness, recognising achievement, employee voice and engagement, professional development and growth, inclusivity, and collaboration.
- Access to extensive, high-quality CPL at every stage of your career, including opportunities to grow as a leader.
- The opportunity to progress across the partnership, realising your career ambitions.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, offering specialist support including counselling, financial support, and legal advice.
- A fantastic working environment, with a team that works together for the benefit of the children in our schools.
- A varied job where no day is the same!

- Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Can work effectively with and without direction.
- Has enthusiasm, energy, integrity, and professionalism.
- Is a team player.
- Is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
Your core duties will be:
- Supervising pupils in the dining hall
- Ensuring that the overall arrangement for children to dine promotes an orderly and pleasant meal service
- Supervising the return of used trays, crockery, and cutlery by the children
- Ensuring that tables are left clean for the next occupancy
- Ensuring dining areas are left clean and tidy
- Participating in Opal play activities on the playground, ensuring all items are returned at the end of the session
- Planning and preparing activities in line with the Opal play lead
- Arranging supervision to allow movement amongst the children within the area covered
- Ensuring acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained
- Minimising the likelihood of children hurting themselves, others, or damaging property
