Midday Supervisor job summary
The Headteacher and Governors of Broadbottom CE Primary School are looking to appoint a positive, motivated and caring individual to join the school team. The midday role will involve supervising classes at lunchtime in the dining hall and playground, managing first aid and upholding good standards of behaviour.
The Midday Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring supervision of all pupils during the lunchtime period both in the dining area and during playground/classroom activities. They will work closely with colleagues to provide a healthy, safe, secure and enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils.
The Midday Supervisor must act as a responsible caring adult with the health, safety and welfare of the children always in mind, must show conduct which commands respect and must see that the children behave at all times in line with school behaviour policy - being ready, respectful and safe.
They should always support and contribute to the school’s responsibility for safeguarding children.
