Are you passionate about helping students achieve their potential? Our vibrant secondary school is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Music Support Assistant to make a real difference. What You’ll Do:

  • Supporting the setup of rehearsal spaces, equipment, music stands and technical resources
  • Provide support for music concerts and school productions
  • Help maintain and manage our musical instruments, equipment and technology, arranging repairs where required
  • Coordinate with our Head of Music and Peripatetic Teachers for timetabling one to one lessons and small group sessions
  • Help shape the musical life of the school by supporting whole school events
  • Prepare and organise sheet music for rehearsals and performances
  • Manage and develop our extensive music library and catalogue of scores
  • General administration work as directed by the Head of Music and teachers
  • Support the department with timetabling of lessons and registration of students to those lessons
  • Fostering confidence and independence in learners
  • Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive environment for all students who wish to enhance or build on their music skills
