8.00am to 4.00pm
Pay Grade F1 (FTE £31067 pro rata) to F4 (FTE £35235 pro rata)

St Mary’s Wavendon are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, pro-active and caring Nurture Lead to support pupils in ‘The Nest’. The successful adult will effectively lead the Nurture Unit provision, over-see the learning opportunities and supporting other staff within the room, implementing individual provisions and strategies and liaising with the SENDCO. Experience with support pupils with behaviours that challenge, trauma and those requiring additional support and adjustments is essential. You will have expertise in managing behaviour-related challenges so that children referred to the provision have equal access to education while having their social and emotional well-being needs met.
In accordance with the school aims, to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment in which all pupils who have previously found school a challenge, can reach their potential.

Flexibility and patience is required to nurture pupils who day may look different every day.
Good basic literacy and maths skills are essential for all posts currently advertised.
