- NJC Cambridgeshire Scale 5 Point 12 - 14 (£28,598 - £29,540 FTE per annum) £12,426.16 - £12,835.47 pro rata, plus holiday pay.
What skills and experience we're looking for
- Good level of secondary education including evidence of GCSEs or equivalent.
- First aid certificate, or the willingness to gain this qualification.
- Experience working in a similar administrative role.
- Able to work collaboratively with others.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
- A positive and flexible attitude to all aspects of the job including enthusiasm, a professional and common-sense approach and a dedication to the interest of the College.
- An eye for detail and a willingness to improve all aspects of college provision.
- Proactive, positive and flexible approach to work and taking on new tasks.
- Ability to ensure work is accurate and delivered so that deadlines are met.
- High standards of behaviour in the professional role.
- Commitment to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with young people.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check, Medical Clearance and 2 References.

Role Summary
- To provide efficient administrative support across the school.
- To be a welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors.
- To handle telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally and courteously.
- Maintain accurate student records and process confidential information in line with GDPR requirements.
- To support attendance, admissions, examinations, and other school administrative functions.
- To prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
- To organise meetings, manage diaries, and provide administrative support to school leaders and staff.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of administrative services.
- To contribute to creating a positive, professional, and welcoming environment for the whole school community.
- To demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring all school safeguarding procedures are followed and concerns are reported appropriately
