What skills and experience we're looking for
This is a varied and influential role overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the school office while providing high-level, confidential administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
You will:
- Lead and line manage the administrative team, ensuring a welcoming, professional front-of-house service
- Act as PA to the Headteacher, managing diaries, correspondence, meetings and follow-up actions
- Oversee whole-school communications including newsletters, letters, website and social media
- Coordinate admissions, events, data returns and statutory processes
- Play a key role in parent communication, complaints handling and information governance
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and service delivery
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a senior administrative, PA or office management role
- Is highly organised, calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
- Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, parents and external stakeholders
- Has strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft 365 (experience of Arbor/iTrent is desirable)
