As our Office Manager, you’ll be at the centre of school life – leading the administration team, supporting the Headteacher and senior leaders, and ensuring that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so that our pupils can flourish.

🧩 About the role

As Office Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a committed administration team, ensuring a warm, professional and efficient service for pupils, parents and visitors
  • Provide high‑quality administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
  • Oversee key operational areas including admissions, HR administration, payroll processes, data protection and compliance
  • Act as the school’s Data Protection Officer, ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Manage systems, processes and paperwork to the highest standards
  • Work closely with Trust colleagues and external partners to ensure effective use of resources and value for money
  • Play a key role in safeguarding, health & safety and audit processes
  • Help coordinate school events and support the wider life of the academy

This is a strategic and hands‑on role, offering real scope to influence how the school operates and develops.

  • Are highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Have experience working in a busy office environment (school experience desirable but not essential)
  • Enjoy leading and supporting others to do their best work
  • Are confident handling confidential information and working to deadlines
  • Have knowledge of HR processes, recruitment or are keen to develop this further
  • Are proactive, professional and take pride in your work
