This role is dynamic and multifaceted—no two days are ever the same. You could be arranging an interview process for teachers one day, competing a detailed data driven school census another or supporting the work of our Hub in aiding the organisation of a charity event or school fayre.

You will work over both Blakenhale infants and Juniors which have a central office and shared team to support the administration of both academies.

What are we looking for?

The above requires a rather special person to be at ‘the centre of everything’ at our vibrant academy. We need the following attributes:

  • Computer savvy, calm. Discrete and with well-developed secretarial and organisational skills able to cope with anything that comes your way.
  • A team player, kind but robust someone who can develop positive working relationships with others.
  • The ability to be ‘solutions focused’ and proactive, have a positive mental attitude towards work and life!
  • Experience of school environment and school management systems is desirable we currently use Bromcom, but training will be available on any unfamiliar systems.
  • You’ll be experienced at managing teams with an innate ability to motivate, support and coach in equal measure.
  • The ideal candidate will be someone with a firm belief that all children can achieve. It is an exciting time to be joining Oasis Community Learning as we are seeing our efforts coming to life. Over 90% of parents whose child attend an Oasis Academy believes that their child is happy, well-taught and learning.
