Parental Involvement job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parental Involvement at Holybrook Primary School.
The successful candidate will act as a key contact for families, helping to identify barriers to engagement and working with them to ensure their children are fully supported to succeed at school. This is a vital role in building trust and positive relationships with families, especially those who may be facing challenges. The role is primarily based in the main school office and therefore encompasses elements of administrative/reception duties alongside the admin team.
Holybrook Primary School is part of Exceed Academies Trust, which currently consists of fourteen academies; ten primary schools, an all-through primary-to-secondary academy, two alternative provision academies (Primary and Secondary), and a specialist setting for children/young people who suffer from social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The Trust has an excellent reputation within Bradford and beyond, and an outstanding track record of supporting staff in developing their careers through specialist training lead by the Exceed Teaching School Hub and our Outstanding SCITT.

The successful candidate will:
- Build strong, supportive relationships with families, particularly those facing difficulties
- Encourage and promote parental involvement in their children's learning and school life
- Support attendance and punctuality initiatives by working directly with families and external agencies
- Work alongside staff and leadership to identify and support vulnerable pupils and families
- Analyse data to identify key areas of concern regarding pupils safeguarding/welfare/attendance
- Carry out home visits, where necessary, to address attendance concerns for individual pupils
- Have experience in working with families or in a pastoral/support role
- Hold knowledge about safeguarding, confidentiality and family support services
