Trinity Academy Akroydon (TAA), the inaugural primary school to join our Trust, is dedicated to nurturing children from Reception through to Year 6.

Since joining the Trust, our investment in the academy’s infrastructure has been substantial, resulting in significant renovations across every classroom, the enhancement of outdoor learning spaces, and the introduction of a state-of-the-art primary Science laboratory.

Recognised by Ofsted as “a vibrant, friendly and happy place in which to learn”, TAA excels in delivering an educational environment where “pupils’ behaviour is exemplary” and “staff are proud to work”. Our guiding vision, ‘be remarkable, be determined, be proud’, drives our staff’s commitment to providing transformative educational experiences and opportunities for all pupils.

In recent years, our focus on environmental sustainability has been exemplary; we received the Eco-Schools Green Flag accreditation with distinction in both 2023 and 2024. Trinity Academy Akroydon proudly serves as a beacon school for the Tree Council and have been honoured with the Waste Award in the Eco-Schools Impact Report of 2023. The remarkable achievements of our eco-committee also secured a £10,000 investment aimed at enhancing our positive influence on the local community and environment.

In addition to nurturing our pupils, we fervently believe in investing in our staff by fostering talent and cultivating leaders for the future.

The working environment is supported by committed, hardworking and supportive colleagues who are focused on improving outcomes for our children. As an academy we have high expectations of staff and expect staff to challenge our pupils and themselves. We set high standards and aim to display these in all that we do.

Working for Trinity Academy Akroydon is rewarding we can offer a fantastic environment, excellent CPD programmes and a range of opportunities to progress. These ambitions are shared across all schools within the trust.
