Part-time class teacher (0.4 FTE) job summary

We are seeking to appoint a creative and innovative Teacher to be part of our friendly team from September 2021. This will be a job share with one of our Assistant Heads, working two days a week in our Year 3/4 class. Chilton has: A warm and friendly working and learning environment. Enthusiastic and motivated learners. A dedicated, supportive staff team, both teaching and non-teaching. Children who enjoy learning and are positive about their school. A Forest School on site and opportunities for learning outdoors all year round. An ambitious thematic curriculum. An extremely motivated individual with high expectations of learning and behaviour. A teacher with an understanding of how children learn. Passion for preparing young children for life time learning. Someone who could lead a curriculum area. Enthusiasm and dedication to improving life chances for all. Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a job share. A commitment to building good working relationships with pupils, parents and the wider community.
