As a KS2 Class Teacher at Willowdown Primary School, you will contribute to our mission: “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish.” You will share a Key Stage 2 class with our brilliant Deputy Headteacher, working collaboratively to provide high-quality learning experiences for our pupils.

As KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
Collaborating with your job-share partner (the Deputy Headteacher) to ensure consistent progress and support for all pupils.
Creating a classroom culture that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
Supporting the development of each child both academically and emotionally.
What You’ll Bring to Futura
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher who:
Qualifications: Holds QTS and relevant teaching experience at KS2.
Experience: Demonstrates a proven track record of high-quality teaching and pupil progress.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Adaptable, reflective, and open to collaborative working.
A positive approach to inclusion and ambition for every pupil.
A team mindset and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic school.
You’ll bring patience, a sense of humour, and a drive for high standards — both for yourself and your pupils.

Key Information:
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Work Pattern: 0.4 to 0.8 FTE (2 to 4 days per week)
Salary: MPS1 – UPS3
