Your new role

As Teacher of Music, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring Music lessons to Key Stage 3 students while contributing to the wider Creative Arts provision across the school. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, managing behaviour effectively, and creating a positive learning environment that enables all students to succeed.

You will work closely with colleagues to support students' academic, social, and emotional development, while also contributing to enrichment opportunities such as concerts, performances, trips, and other extra-curricular creative arts activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Music to Key Stage 3 students.
  • Plan challenging and engaging learning experiences.
  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Use ICT effectively to enhance teaching and learning
  • Support the wider life of the school and uphold its ethos.
