What skills and experience we're looking for
- Previous experience working with children and their famililes
- Experience of running effective support for families
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Ability to to set up and deliver family support programmes including group work
- To be qualified to deliver ELSA (desirable)
- Ability to work with children and young people in a variety of settings within school, home or in the community
- Ability to work flexibility and supportively with parents and carers
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries when working with adults and children

- Pastoral Leader Main job purpose detailed below:
- Provide pastoral support for all children acting as a Key Worker for children with specific social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Work closely with class teachers and teaching assistants to personalise support for individual children and their families
Work in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and SENDCO to identify opportunities and prioritise support, including suggestions for school development in this area
Provide support to parents regarding the welfare of their children eg: attendance, behaviour strategies, support with Home Learning, advice and signposting.
If appropriate, be the lead professional at TAF meetings
Assist in the administration to organise and arrange visits from other professionals and agencies such as the school nurse and Early Help
To be a deputy designated safeguarding lead.
