Contract: Full-time 37 hours per week. Term time only

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm

Salary: Level 3B (Point 6 - 8) - Actual Salary Range: £22,129.00 - £22,840.00 (dependent on experience).

Are you passionate about removing barriers to learning and helping young people thrive emotionally, socially and academically? We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic and resilient Pastoral Support Officer to join pastoral team.

About the Role

In this vital role, you will be a key point of contact for students requiring emotional, social, or behavioural support. You will work proactively to manage attendance, coordinate early interventions, support positive behaviour strategies and build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies.

You will give administrative support to the Year Team, Safeguarding Lead and pastoral support to students ensuring we establish consistently high standards with regard to behaviour, uniform and attendance. The ability to work as part of a team and confidence to work with students, parents and external agencies is essential.

Working in a school requires you to have strong organisational and communication skills. There will be face-to-face interaction with students, members of staff, parents and external agencies.
