  • Ability to deliver high quality physical activity sessions based upon the needs of young people.
  • Experience of managing and delivering activity programmes and events
  • Good Planning & Organisational Skills
  • Self-motivationwith the ability to motivate and enthuse teaching staff, young people, other coaches and sports leaders.

We are seeking to appoint a PE and School Sport Officer to support the management and delivery of Newcastle PE and School Sport brokered services, programmes and interventions to schools. The successful candidate will also lead on designated projects and programmes.

Our service covers the whole of Newcastle upon Tyne engaging with and delivering a variety of programmes and services to First, Primary, Middle, Special and High Schools. We provide high quality PE and sporting opportunities to children and young people, and we are committed to having a positive impact in order to raise participation that will ultimately encourage and motivate them to lead healthy active lifestyles. As such we are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate individual to deliver against this aspiration.
